How to Use Our Correcting Gel
Bad Skin Days Are Over
WRITTEN BY: N&T Staff | October, 2024
Still have the occasional bad skin day? Us too. That’s why we created Clear Blemish & Pore Correcting Gel, made to refine pores and improve the look of blemishes for a crystal-clear glow.
Works Like Magic (But Isn't)
✓ Salicylic Acid: to boost exfoliation and help unclog pores
✓ Shikimic Acid: to improve complexion for a glassy look
✓ Mandelic Acid: to help refine and visible minimize pores
✓ Aloe: to give skin a hydrated feel and calm, even look
How to Use Clear
Begin by cleansing and drying your skin. Remove the Clear cap by lifting it off the bottle. Then pump a little onto your fingertips (a little goes a long way!).
To Target Blemishes: Apply a thick layer to address a specific blemish.
To Refine Complexion: Apply a thin layer to enhance a larger area (the nose, chin, and forehead are commonly targeted zones).
Whether you’re addressing a specific blemish or refining your overall complexion, always allow Clear to completely dry (about 10 minutes). Then continue with the rest of your routine, applying skincare around–but not on top of–Clear.
For Sensitive Skin Types
If you have a history of sensitive skin, we recommend letting Clear sit for 5-10 minutes and then rinsing off. As with all products, it’s a good idea to perform a patch test to make sure it’s a good fit for your skin.
More Details You’ll Want to Know
When using Clear, we suggest steering clear of other acidic products like Vitamin C, Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs), Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHAs), or retinol and its derivatives. Together, these may cause irritation.
Don’t skip the sunscreen. Because Clear is made with AHAs (which are known to support exfoliation and turnover), it may increase sun sensitivity. You should also wear protective clothing and limit sun exposure while using Clear (and for a week after).
